Brand Template System
Collective Moxie
As part of Collective Moxie’s brand refresh, a flexible template system was developed to strengthen the agency’s visual presence and bring greater consistency across social, presentation, and internal communication channels.
The work focused on evolving the brand’s visual language through refined typography, color application, and clearer information hierarchy while staying rooted in Collective Moxie’s bold and inclusive identity. I created scalable social templates across key content pillars, along with customizable presentation and letterhead systems designed for a range of audiences and communication needs.
The result was a cohesive design system that improved consistency, streamlined production, and gave the brand more flexibility and clarity across touchpoints.
Design System
The design system balances clarity and expression, combining a colorful palette with subtle mid-century modern influences. It moves along a spectrum from functional to expressive, staying clear and structured at its core while allowing for moments of bold visual energy.
The design uses fluid gradients to create movement and expression while maintaining a clean, modern, and intentional layout. Color adds vibrancy and contrast, making the work feel optimistic and memorable without overwhelming the message.
Mid-century modern iconography supports the system as a set of symbols and wayfinding elements across presentations, letterheads, and formal communications.
Built on principles of boldness, simplicity, and versatility, the system is designed to communicate ideas clearly, adapt across formats, and maintain a strong, consistent identity.

USC Recruitment Brand System
USC Talent Acquisition underwent a visual refresh to modernize its recruitment presence and strengthen USC’s positioning as a destination for professional growth. The initiative focused on creating a more cohesive employer brand experience across candidate-facing touchpoints while better communicating the university’s culture, benefits, and opportunities.
I redesigned the recruitment brand system across the Careers website, social channels, and marketing materials, developing a unified visual language that brought greater consistency and scalability across platforms. The system included the Careers website, recruitment brochures, LinkedIn and Glassdoor templates, LinkedIn Life page updates, and benefits and event materials.
The refreshed system strengthened brand recognition and improved engagement across recruitment channels, contributing to a 42% increase in “Apply” clicks on the USC Careers website along with increased traffic across LinkedIn Life and Jobs pages.
Design System
The USC recruitment brand system was built around the theme “Experience USC”, capturing a Southern California spirit that is vibrant, aspirational, and optimistic.
Designed to align seamlessly with the master USC brand and core university website, the system integrates expressive radial elements to symbolize community and aspiration, evoking a sense of optimism and connection. The photography direction brings this vision to life through vivid, treated imagery featuring sunny skies, warm sunsets, and subtle touches of cardinal to reinforce the core USC brand.
The brochures follow the overall system, with covers that showcase the “Experience USC” creative direction and reflect a vibrant, aspirational Southern California spirit. The layout is minimal and functional, featuring large imagery and bold typography, with subtle expressive elements to ensure broad applicability across departments.
