The Wandering Divide

Album Design: Kandace Selnick
Photography: Jose Garcia

Created for the release of Norte Del Sur by The Wandering Divide, this album explores themes of travel, exploration, nature, and personal history.

The visual direction follows a journey from Los Angeles to the Northern California coast, using film photography, minimalist typography, and spacious compositions to evoke a strong sense of place. Together, these elements create a reflective visual narrative that weaves together landscape, memory, and personal experience.

The cover artwork follows this journey geographically. The front cover features a film photograph overlooking Los Angeles, while the back cover presents the rugged coastline of Northern California, reflecting the route that inspired the album. The title, Norte Del Sur ("North of the South"), references both this physical movement across California and the cultural histories embedded within the region.
